Do you ever come across an idea and think to yourself “why the heck didn’t I think of that”? This was my exact reaction when I came upon a Toronto Life article about a project that’s happening in the city. It’s called the “Love Lettering Project”. It began as an art project by two Torontonians who simply loved their city and wanted to share it with strangers. So they wrote simple love letters expressing various objects of their affection in the city and left them for strangers to find on bikes, streets, and doors. I’ve never seen then around but if I should chance upon one I’m sure my day would be instantly brighter. So, if someone were to ask me what do I love about my city, what would I say? I would say I love the diversity that Toronto has to offer — in food choices (LOL). Nearly every cuisine from around the world can be found at my fingertips and I can let my gastronomical imagination soar.
The Love Lettering Project is also holding events where you can go participate in this amazing project and brighten up someone’s day. More information can be found here.
